Chance for a Change will be participating in a Summer Feeding Program. Their three locations are Millbrook's Community Center (breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m.) and JB Sports and Manor House (breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and lunch at noon in both locations).

Fresh Anointing Ministries VBS

Driver's License Class

Each Thursday

Classes for a Driver's License will be held each Thursday at the Lee Co. Courthouse. The written exam is given at 1:00 p.m., while the driving portion is at 9 a.m.

Free Mulch

Forrest City landfill will give away free mulch on Saturday, July 2, from 8:00 to noon. This is done on the first Saturday of each month, weather permitting.

FCA United Fireworks Celebration

FCA United will present their Annual Fireworks Celebration on Saturday, July 2, starting at 8:00 p.m. with fireworks at 9:00 p.m., at the Forrest City Sports Complex. This is a free event.

BBQ Cook-off

The Livestock Association of Eastern Arkansas will host the First Annual Barbeque Cook-Off on Saturday, July 2, from 10:00-3:00, in downtown Forrest City, at 208 North Grant Street. The entry fee is $20, and prizes will be awarded for first and second place. Booths are available for $30 and a silent auction will be held. Music Festival

A music festival will be held at the Wynne Sports Complex on Monday, July 4, starting at 1:00 p.m. The entry fee is $5 a car. The fireworks display will be start at 9 p.m. For more information call 870-208-3523.

7th Annual Children's Theater Camp

The 7th Annual Children's Theater Camp is scheduled for July 11-15. This is a part of EACC's Department of Continuing Education. This program is for children from 1st-12th grade. Adventure Day Camp

Village Creek State Park will host an Adventure Day Camp for children ages 7-9 on July 13-15 and children ages 10-12 on July 25-27, from 9:00-4:00 daily. Registration is required with a $75 fee. Registration must be done by the Friday before camp. For more information, call 870-238-9406.

Sistas Support Group

The Mississippi River State Park will host two different Non-Native Bamboo Wind Chime classes on Friday, August 12, at 3:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 3, at 3 p.m. Each class is about 45 minutes long.
