KXJK/KBFC Bass Classic
The Annual KXJK/KBFC Bass Classic will take place on Saturday, April 29, at Old Town Lake by the Game & Fish Launch in Lake View, AR. There is a 100% payout with $1,000 guaranteed. Winners will be determined by overall weight, and places will be determined by how many participants enter the competition. Entry fee is $100 per boat to enter, maximum two people per boat. 7th Annual EACC Golf Tournament
EACC will host its 7th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, June 12, with lunch at 11:30 am. and a shot-gun start at 1:00 p.m. at Forrest City Country Club. Youth Art Competition
The Delta Cultural Center is taking entries for the
annual Blues Heritage Youth Art Competition. Students are encouraged to
enter their art work that goes along with this year's theme "Old Time
Blues." Requirements are as follows:
--Must be in Elementary, Middle or High School
--Any art medium is acceptable
--Must be standard poster size, with a minimum size of 22" x 14"
Winners will be announced at the King Biscuit Blues Festival on Tuesday, October 3, and the art pieces will be put on display at the Delta Cultural Center's Depot throughout the month of October. EACC will present their 8th Annual Children's Theater Camp from July 24-28.
